The police need to know more about the murder.意思是警察需要了解关于凶杀案的更多信息
这里more就可以单独的指称更多信息了，不需要加information,当然加上也是可以的，一般来说不用加，more在这里是代词的用法

before在这里是“之前”的意思，用法正确，这句话是说“受害人之前曾因计算机犯罪被指控”。before作为副词修饰be charged，紧跟其后

1、in this summer.这句有错误。在this/those/that+n.的前面不能用介词。
2、一般说ninth grade

 a ninth grade student
a grade 9 student
a student in the grade 9
