There are many mountains in China.
There's a famous mountain in Anhui.
It's the Huangshan Mountain.
它是黄山。
This is the famous Changjiang River.
这是著名的长江。
It's more than six thousand kilometres long.
长江有六千多公里长。
There are lots of beautiful lakes in China.
This is the West Lake.
It's in Hangzhou.
This is the Great Wall.
It's more than twenty thousand kilometres long.

There be结构表示存在，在一般现在时里，be有is,are两种形式。
There is a boy in the room.
让房间里有一个男孩。
There is some cheese in the box.
盒子里有一些奶酪。
There are ten books on the desk.
书桌上有十本书。
口诀记忆
There be句型有特点，
主语放在be后面。
单数主语用is，
复数用are要记住。
如果There be后面有多个名词，要遵循就近原则，即be动词的选择要由它最近的名词来决定。
There is a book and two pens on the desk.
书桌上有一本书和两只钢笔。
There are two pens and a book on the desk.
书桌上两只钢笔和一本书。
学习了there be句型的肯定句，我们再一起学习there be句型的否定句和疑问句吧。
否定句：表示某地没有某人或某物
There be(is/are)+not+某人/某物+in/on/at+其他。
There is not bird in the tree.
树上没有鸟。
There are not desks in the room.
房间里没有书桌。
一般疑问句：表示询问某地是否有某人或某物
Be(is/are)+there+某人/某物+in/on/at+其他？
Is there any milk in the bottle?
Yes,there is.
Are there any books on the desk?
No,there aren't.

the Great Wall
