Learning goals:
1.to read the reading passage to draw the theories of the universe
2.to write a short letter asking Copernicus to publish his ideas.
Pre-reading
We know from last class it is his logical mind and screntific method that help john Snow defeat cholera.
Today we will learn another scientist Copernicus, who was one of the first scientists to use mathematical observations to collect information.He believed the sun is the center of the universe and the earth and other;planets went around it.
The reading passage on P.7 shows his theory.
